Frequently Asked Questions
- How far in advance should I book?
- For weddings, I recommend booking 9–12 months in advance, especially for peak season (May–October). For portrait and family sessions, 4–6 weeks is usually plenty of time.
- How long until I receive my photos?
- Portrait and family sessions are delivered within 2–3 weeks. Wedding galleries are delivered within 8-10 weeks. You'll receive a sneak peek of a few favorites within 48 hours.
- What if the weather is bad on the day of our session?
- For outdoor sessions, we'll keep an eye on the forecast together. Light overcast is actually beautiful for portraits! If conditions are truly unworkable, we'll reschedule at no charge.
- Do you travel for weddings?
- Absolutely. I'm based in Columbus, Ohio and available for travel throughout the Midwest and beyond. Travel fees apply for sessions more than 50 miles from Columbus.
- What is your payment and cancellation policy?
- A 25% retainer is due at booking to hold your date, with the remaining balance due two weeks before your session. Retainers are non-refundable, but sessions can be rescheduled with at least 2 weeks' notice.
